Bethleh is a Palestinian city in central West Bank, approximately 10 km (6 mi) south of Jerusalem,

with a population of about 30,000 people. This ancient city is a highly pious place for Christians, being the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Some of the most visited tourist attractions are the Church of the Nativity, Rachel’s Tomb, Solomon’s Pools and Shepherds’ Fields.

The Bible identifies Bethlehem as the city that David came from and the location where he was crowned King of Israel. The city of Bethlehem has good accommodation facilities for visitors and a large range of dining options, with a number of restaurants serving Israeli and Palestinian cuisines.
